Alexandra Trigonis (κα. Ἀλεξάνδρα Τριγγῶνη)
From a large, closely knit family with precious, sacrificial parents, born in Greece who put a top priority on education and our Faith, Alexandra and her siblings always attended the best private schools as well as Greek school every Saturday. She graduated with two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Education as well as Spanish, with a focus on second language learners and teaching foreign languages in general.
After teaching in Central America at the American Schools of Guatemala and Honduras, she met her beloved husband, Alex. She spent her newlywed years helping start an Orthodox school in Santa Barbara, CA.
After moving to Florence, AZ, she has had the great joy of teaching various levels and subjects at Three Hierarchs Academy (3HA). After a hiatus due to caregiving for parents, she is excited to return to 3HA to teach 2nd and 3rd grade.
She sees teaching as a serious calling to help form positive, humble, driven students, with admirable characters, rather than simply a transfer of information, while encouraging them to take their God-given talents and multiply them for His glory.
In her spare time, Alexandra enjoys with her husband hiking, mountain biking, swimming, gardening, tending to their animals, and especially any activity that helps them draw closer to God and His Church.
